Okay, so it's completely OOC of me to get so dang excited over something.

But, dangit, when I get excited over something, I go all the way.

See, Metro Con very nicely happens in my city. I went for the first time last year (THANK YOU, Cris! I swear I wasn't as bored as I seemed. I was disappointed that I hadn't the time or funds for cosplaying...), and it hit my interest, although I'm even more excited this year, since....

1: It begins only 3 days after my birthday, so, as a birthday gift, my mother is going to fund a three-day pass...
2: help me make possibly 3 costumes (depending on time and funds; we tend to get distracted....no, not by shiny things. )...
3: will give me extra spending money(I have about $100 on my own...so possibly up to $150....whee. )...
4: And she said it's cool with her if I use their paypal account to help buy some things! Although everything is hopefully gonna be handmade.
5: I get to go with my mom, her digital video camera (should be MINE, but they gave it to her -- although I'm the one that's been asking..*Sighs* At least I have a digital camera, lol), my best female friend, a very close other friend, and quite possibly a friend from school.

And, I discovered that the awesome shoes I bought (may upload the pic of them, lol...)...which are the first female shoes I've bought in about 3-4 years, and are the first heels I've ever bought... are FOUR INCH HEELS, and, while admittedly look snakeskin, look so completely fabulous on me it isn't even funny. o.o;
And, when I wear them, I'm my dad's height (5'11", ), and very very close to one of my bro's height... and completely surpass my mom, haha. Well, I already surpass her by about two inches. But with those on, it's 6 inches. XD Lol!

And they look gooood.....

I put them on, and suddenly exclaimed, "Hey, I should go as a crossdressing Orochimaru! These are totally his shoes -- SNAKESKIN!"

....Right in the middle of the store.

And my voice carries when I raise it; I normally keep my voice very quiet.

Let me tell you:

I didn't bother keeping quiet. XD

Imagine the looks; it was hilarious. *Snickers* I just looked up, beamed innocently at everyone giving me odd looks, and said, putting on a very girly voice and attitude, "Like I love anime! Orochimaru's obsessed with snakes, and these are snakeskin! So, like, why not crossdress as a crossdressing crossdresser?"

My mom and I collapsed into laughter at the looks we got. Some of the people in the store did, too. XD

All right, so I decided on my first two costumes, but I'm not sure on the last. My first one is Psychic'er Yuna, from FFX-2, and my second is shippuden Aburame Shino. His'll be the easiest one to make, lol.

But I'm not sure about the third one -- I've decided I'd like to do Orochimaru (purely for the reactions I'll get when I go up to random Sasuke's and croon, "Sasuke-kun, I want your body..." or randomly say, "I like little boys...." in a disturbing voice. ), but I can't decide between his normal outfit, or his Akatsuki outfit.

So, VOTES! Who likes what? Normal, or Akatsuki?
